If you haven’t heard of ChatGPT yet, then you’re definitely living under a rock.

This AI-powered tool reached 100 million monthly users in January 2023, according to a UBS report, making it the fastest-growing consumer app in history.

So here’s everything you need to know about it.

ChatGPT is a free-to-use online AI chatbot. There’s also a paid version called ChatGPT Plus for users who want priority access.

It was developed by a research laboratory called OpenAI. Their funders have included Amazon Web Services, InfoSys, Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, and now Microsoft.
The program can do a number of tasks including but not limited to draft emails, debug code, answer questions and, as the name implies, chat with people.
